A saturday dawn patrol was a good reconnaissance mission. Alarm at 3 is still a shocker, but the world would have a lot more people out there if alpine starts weren't in order. Having to be back in the flat lands by nine ay em puts the kaybosh on a little early for my taste, but hell, we sitting at the gates to at least a month and a half - by my reckoning - of top shelf quality conditions for early morning climbing and mid morning corn descending. A week of warm days and a few solid freezes will have put the snow in fine form ( Check it out for yourself over in the link bar). And that, in the words of the veritable Chingy, right thurr, make me say ooh ooh yeah ooh.
Not to mention ridin the trails up high. the snow is melting as we speak, and the ribbons of lost world and the vortex, and others will, with the good grace of the nimby god be rideable.
bring it
